A Personal note on my service scope - PLEASE READ
While the Ready To Race Plan is designed to provide a well-rounded suite of services to help you understand and optimize your nutrition for performance, it's important to clarify that daily meal planning is not part of this offering. But there's a thoughtful reason behind this. Additionally, it is not a weight-loss program.
As a dedicated sports nutritionist, my coaching philosophy hinges on aiding ultra and endurance athletes in gaining the knowledge and confidence to take control of their own diet and understand its impact on health and performance. I firmly believe that the most sustainable and effective changes come from modifying your existing diet. It's all about gradual adjustments and habit-building, working within the framework and comfort zone of your familiar dietary patterns.
So, instead of creating an entirely new diet, my focus is on refining what you already know and eat. This starts with the food and activity deep dive, report and consultation. Together, we'll identify your beneficial dietary habits and behaviours, encouraging these while gently reducing less optimal ones. And fear not, culinary inspiration will always be at hand. I provide example recipes and meal plans to ignite fresh ideas for meals at home, on the trail, on the track, on the road, and in the pool.
Furthermore, my approach avoids general averages - instead, I focus on the intricate daily variations in your nutritional targets. Each day brings unique training demands, and my goal is to fine-tune your nutrition to meet these specific daily requirements. This meticulous management of energy and nutrients helps support your health, boost performance, and achieve body composition goals.
By adopting this approach, I aim to assist you in making meaningful and enduring improvements to your diet, thereby supporting your health and boosting your performance.
To gather the information and data needed to provide help, streamline the process, and reduce costs of service, I also use an app and Google Docs and Sheets. I provide full instructions on how to use these. These are an essential part of my delivery and require athletes to access a smartphone or computer.
